1008/1010

The Carbon content in the 1008 grade of MS Wire is 0.08% and in the 1010 grade is 0.10%. It is very soft and hence easy to work with. It is used in the manufacturing of all kinds of fasteners, forging, etc.

1018

The Carbon content in this grade of MS wire is 0.18%. This is the most commonly available grade around the world. This grade of MS wire is ductile, malleable, easy to weld, and easy to manufacture and fabricate. It is used in the manufacturing of screws, rods, spindles, etc.

1022

The Carbon content in this grade of MS wire is 0.22%. This grade has a high content of manganese and carbon as compared to the 1020 grade. MS Wire of this grade has an excellent surface finish, low tensile strength, and is easy to bend. It is used in the manufacturing of bolts, cold formed fasteners, screws, motor spindles, gears, welding purposes, construction purposes, etc.

10B21

This is the grade of Boron Steel Wire. The Carbon content in this is between 0.18% to 0.23%, Manganese is between 0.60% to 0.90%, and the amount of Boron is between 0.0005% to 0.003%.
